As you are aware (particularly if you have a child in Year 6!) this week was SATs week. The children have put in a great deal of effort, both during the tests and in the practice papers they completed as part of their preparation. A huge ‘well done’ needs to go to the pupils, who have all worked incredibly hard and shown great maturity. Thank you to the parents and carers who have supported them in their homework and revision, and thank you to the teaching staff, whose own hard work and dedication have helped the pupils to progress so well.
EYFS and KS1 Summer Term trips
This week, Reception, Year One and Year Two all had a lovely time on their animal-related school trips. Year Two went to Feadon Farm wildlife park on Wednesday, to meet foxes, owls, reindeer and other creatures, while EYFS and Year One went to Newquay Zoo on Thursday.
Thank you to everyone who took part in our non-uniform day last Friday to help raise money for the victims of the earthquakes in Nepal. Just this one day raised over £150.00 for the CAFOD disaster relief effort. Thank you all so much for your generosity.
