Raising money for Breast Cancer Awaress

Week 1

We wore yellow and orange and raised a whopping £86.41. A great effort for our first week.

Week 2

We wore black and gold (in commemoration of St Piran – the patron saint of Cornwall – whose feast day was this week. We raised £63.36, so our total raised so far is a wonderful £149.77 for Breast Cancer Awareness.

Week 3

We wore purple, which is the liturgical colour for Lent. This week, as it is our celebration day of Fairtrade Fortnight, our money will be added to our Fairtrade collection. We raised £67.38.

Week 4

We wore green, as it was close to St Patrick’s Day. We raised a fantastic £74.51, which – when added to the total so far- makes £224.28 for Breast Cancer Awareness. One week to go…….

Week 5

We wore multicolor today and raised a colourful £44.53! so our total raised is ……….£268.81. Thanks children, parents and staff for supporting our School charity again, this season of Lent.
