We are learning our times tables


Year 3 are proud to announce that already 9 pupils have reached the finalist level of times tables learning. To achieve this, we had to complete 2x, 10x and 5x tests in 3 minutes! Lots more of us are nearly there too! Next step, 3x and 4x for bronze ……..

Gymnastics Finals


Congratuations to Kieran who represented our school and the Camborne Sports’ Alliance at a recent partnership gym competition. Kieran has been putting lots of practise after school at home and at school and this showed as he demonstrated great balance, flexability and poise.   Well dome for your efforts, Kieran.

Netball Match


Well done to our netball team who played a very competitive  netball match against Trevithick. Although we lost 2 goals to nil, their teacher said we were the best team they had played this year. The children will keep practising so keep checking this page to follow thier progress.

Christmas Multi-skills Festival

Sports Hall Athletics


Over the past two days, our Year 3 and 6 classes have taken part in a Sports Hall Athletics Festival. The children spend 2 hours running, throwing and jumping and really enjoyed themselves.   Well done Year 3 and 6.

8 gymnasts represented St. Johns at a gymnastics competition this week. They competed against a huge number of pupils from within the School Sports’ Alliance and, despite not having much practise, acquitted themselves well.
