Prayers, Saints and Feasts


For the next few weeks, we will be thinking about what the Bible says about Heaven.  We will have time to reflect on our own thoughts about what we think Heaven is like.  In this unit, we will also be looking at the main events in the church year eg. Advent, Christmas, Lent, Pentecost.

Assessment Week


Next week (week commencing Monday 9th November), all classes across the school will be involved in different assessment tasks/tests.  There will be maths and reading assessments next week.

Remembrance Day


Next week, the class will be taking part in the short Remembrance Day service held at the Parish Church in Camborne.  Over the last few years, the class have attended this service.  It has been a good opportunity for children to pause and reflect with other children and organisations in the town.

The Gadget Show


Over the next few weeks, we will be looking at a range of different gadgets.  Our focus in English, will be to look at the key features of different products and write product reviews.  The children will need to think about the structure of their writing and include the strengths and weaknesses of the product.  […]

Bikeability


Year Five and Six have been taking part in some bike training. Bikeability is a scheme organised by the Camborne Sports Alliance who are also funding the training. We had 8 budding cyclists who practised basic skills on the playground in the morning before going out on the road in the afternoon.
